How to Find your Job # on Product Labels

Your Job Number (JN or J#) can be found on your equipment label, which is approximately 3" tall and silver/black in color.
This label is affixed to every Hood, Control package, Fan, Make Up Air unit, or duct component.

Job numbers are generally 7 digits long.  The numerically lower the first digit, the older the product.  Products with 6 digit job numbers are usually older and no longer supported.  Products with 7 digit numbers beginning with 1 or 2 may be no longer supported based on age.

This label will also identify the Model#, Equipment Tag, and/or Fan # as applicable.

Most products have two equipment labels.  If the primary label is not legible on the equipment (for example, UV damage from sun exposure),  you may be able to locate it in the following locations:

-For exhaust fans, in the motor compartment
-For kitchen ventilation hoods, within the utility cabinet or on the top front corner of the hood
-For make up air and paragon units, in the controls cabinet

If no equipment labels can be found, the job number is also listed on the original wiring schematics of products in the diagram headers/footers as applicable.

If you have a quote, the Job# is also your quote#.
