now we will review the general
operations of the control system as a
reminder if the emergency stop button is
pressed in it will disengage power to
the panel as well as to the maxol
control pad to restore power to the
panel pull the emergency stop button
out press the on button to return the
maxol control pad to a ready
State when the painter is ready to start
the selected painting process simply
press the upper left hand button on the
maxitrol control pad the first set point
of the process will begin which includes
a slight delay before advancing to the
beginning paint application set point
while the painter is making final
preparations power is continuously
supplied to the panel but the blower
burner and other systems are not yet
engaged after the delay the second set
point engages which is referred to as a
spray set point during the spray set
point both the blower and burner are
in this example the burner is engaged
because heat is required as part of the
paint application process and the
temperature at the air intake is below
that of the designated temperature set
point at this point in the process the
painter will be inside the spray booth
and painting the product once the paint
application process is complete we will
proceed to the next set point which
allows for a flash mode to be programmed
into the process for this specific
process the flash mode is not required
so we will proceed to the next set point
point which initiates a purge mode The
Purge mode prepares the system for a
cycle once The Purge is complete the
Cure cycle will begin the Cure cycle
will typically produce a lower fan speed
operation which increases the
temperature in the booth and cures the
product once the Cure cycle is complete
the system enters a cooldown mode all of
the times and settings for each set
point can be customized by the user
depending on the specific application
and painting preferences once the cool
down is complete complete the system
will be ready for the next paint
